This book is excellent because Dan Baker is another person that personally understands happiness. His understanding of fear and it's connection to happiness is wonderful. Dan does a great job of allowing us to really understand happiness and it's connection to spirituality.

This book is a guidebook for anyone trying to deal with depression, fear, phobias, panic attacks and self-defeating attitudes. It is a book which can undauntedly help people who are seeing a therapist and those who do not. I have personally spent time with Dr. Burns and I can tell you that he can give you more skills and tools, techniques and exercises that help you to cope with your moods and your problems than any book I have ever read.
 
Shortcut Through Therapy, Richard Carlson, Ph.D.
Dr. Carlson does so much to show you how to choose to be happy. This book will teach you that you may not need to take the long road to happiness. As a psychologist only he can tell you things that may mean a quick success for you. A really worthwhile book for you to read.

DeMello was a Jesuit Priest born in 1931 and died in 1987. This book is a profound work in happiness and spirituality. You will need to read this book a few times because it gives you so much new thought to feed your happiness.

This is truly on of the most incredible books on happiness ever written. Bruce was clearly happy and completely understood the meaning of happiness. Not only that but he actually can teach you how to be completely happy no matter what using the Option Method he created.

I think this is the most comprehensive book on happiness I've ever read. Rabbi Pliskin has chapters dealing with everything you could imagine that could rob you of your happiness. He has chapters dealing with worry, sadness, friendship, living in the present, anger, guilt, suffering, preventing problems, envy, desires, grief, discouragement and many more.
The most incredible components of this book and the segments that make it great are the first four chapters. This is a very important work because it is a breakthrough for the field of psychology to enter into the subject of happiness, using the term "positive psychology."  Dr. Seligman does a good job of helping us understand the usefulness of happiness.
